The Ecorse Public Library has been a cornerstone of the community since the 1920's, providing access to books, technology, and educational programs.  We serve a population of 9000, nestled next to the Detroit River in the Downriver Community.  

The library circulates over 18,000 items, offers programming for all ages, and is open 5 days a week.    We serve a diverse population and are a space for everyone in the community to interact and discover at all stages of life.  We provide access to materials and resources that enrich and build equity within the community. EPL represents people through diverse collections and programming and champion their privacy and First Amendment rights.
