 Getting a Library Card

Anyone can get a library card at Ecorse Public Library, no matter their age.

Library Cards for Kids

Children under 18 need an adult to sign their application. This adult is responsible for any fees or overdue books. Even babies can get a card!

How to Sign Up

  • If you are 18 or older, visit the library with proof of identity and residency.
  • If you don’t have proof of residency, you can get a temporary card for 30 days if you show a Michigan ID with your current address and your home library is part of The Library Network (TLN).
